A good nipple cover should be completely invisible. Yet, many women choose the wrong size or shade — and the result shows under the fabric. Here's how to make the right choice the first time.

Why size matters

A nipple cover that's too small won't cover enough — the edges stick out and show under light fabrics. Too large, it creates creases at the edges that form a mark under the garment. The ideal size completely covers the areola with about 5 mm of margin all around.

• Size 1 · 8 cm — A and B cups, or areolas under 4 cm
• Size 2 · 10 cm — C and D cups, or areolas between 4 and 6 cm
• Size 3 · 12 cm — DD+ cups, only available with Lifties

If in doubt between two sizes, choose the larger one. The ultra-thin edges (0.5 mm) of Hidies and Lifties blend completely under the fabric, even in large sizes.

Hidies or Lifties: what's the difference?

Both are made of reusable medical-grade silicone, but they don't have the same shape:

• Hidies — round shape, full coverage, discreet. Ideal for deep necklines and light fabrics.
• Lifties — teardrop shape, with an integrated lifting effect. For those who want a slight lift in addition to discretion.

Choosing the right shade

LANOAI offers two shades designed to adapt to a maximum of skin tones:

• Peach — light to medium skin tones. The best-selling shade in Europe.
• Cocoa — medium-dark to deep skin tones. Specifically formulated not to show on dark skin.

When in doubt, the rule is simple: it's better to choose a slightly darker shade than a lighter one. A nipple cover that's too light will show more under white or nude fabrics.

How long do they last?

With proper care (rinse with lukewarm water and mild soap if needed, air dry, store in the case), you'll get many more than the 10 uses indicated on the box. Many of our customers use them for months.
